Nail Care Essentials

A quick, gentle visit that keeps your dog's paws healthy, comfortable, and click-clack free on hardwood floors.

What's included

Healthy nails matter more than most owners realize. Overgrown nails change the way your dog stands and walks, which leads to joint pain over time. Our nail care visit handles everything in one quick stop.

  • Precise nail trim with professional-grade clippers
  • Smooth filing to round off sharp edges
  • Dew claw trim (often missed at home)
  • Paw pad inspection for cracks, splinters, or debris
  • Hair trim between paw pads for traction
  • Optional: paw balm application for dry pads

Trim or grind?

We offer both. Clippers give a clean, fast cut and are great for most dogs. A Dremel grinder rounds and smooths the nail tip, which many owners prefer for hardwood floors and pups who scratch themselves up. Tell us your preference, or let us choose what suits your dog best.

For anxious or wiggly pups

Nail trims are one of the most common things dogs are nervous about, and we get it. We work slowly, use a calm tone, and take breaks when needed. For very anxious dogs, we'll often do one or two paws per visit until they build confidence — and that's totally fine.

How often?

Most dogs benefit from a nail trim every 3 to 4 weeks. If you hear the clicking on hardwood floors, it's already time. We're happy to set up a recurring schedule so you never have to remember.

What to expect at your visit

Quick and easy — usually 15 to 20 minutes. No appointment-long wait, no bath required. Just walk in, get the nails handled, and go on with your day.
