Flea & Tick Bath

A thorough, medicated treatment that gets fleas, ticks, and their eggs off your dog — and keeps them out of your home. Sometimes you just need a deep clean.

What's included

Oklahoma summers are tough on dogs. Between tall grass, dog parks, hiking trails, and other pets, even the best-protected dogs can pick up unwanted hitchhikers. Our flea & tick bath is designed to get rid of every visible pest, soothe irritated skin, and send your dog home fresh and itch-free.

  • Pre-bath inspection and manual tick removal (if needed)
  • Veterinarian-recommended medicated flea & tick shampoo
  • 15-minute contact time to kill fleas, ticks, and eggs
  • Thorough rinse and second wash if needed
  • Soothing oatmeal conditioner to calm irritated skin
  • Hand-blown fluff-dry with continued comb-through for stragglers
  • Final inspection of ears, paws, belly, and under the tail
  • Ear cleaning and light brush-out to finish

When to book a flea & tick bath

If you've seen fleas, found a tick, noticed your dog scratching more than usual, or your pup has been somewhere risky (dog park, boarding, hiking, visiting other animals), it's time. Catching it early is way easier than dealing with a full infestation later.

Why a salon treatment beats DIY

Drugstore flea shampoos rarely work the way they should. Most owners don't leave the shampoo on long enough, don't lather thoroughly, and miss the spots where fleas hide — armpits, base of the tail, behind the ears, between the toes. We do it right the first time, with professional-grade products and the experience to know where to look.

What to do at home after

A flea bath kills what's on your dog right now, but if you've had fleas in the house, you'll need to treat the environment too. We'll send you home with a quick checklist — washing bedding in hot water, vacuuming thoroughly, and treating yards if needed. We can also recommend a long-term preventative to talk to your vet about.

Safety first

We use products that are safe for adult dogs and puppies over 12 weeks. For very young puppies, pregnant or nursing dogs, or pets with certain medical conditions, we may recommend consulting your vet first or using a gentler approach. We'll always ask about your dog's health before we start.

What to expect at your visit

Plan on about 60 to 90 minutes. We'll show you what we found (if anything) at pickup and walk you through next steps so the problem doesn't come back.
